How long is this information kept for?
For the life of your contract for services with Jellyfish Technologies. Once your contract with Jellyfish has been cancelled, these details are deleted from our database.

The information is entered into our CRM and used to contact customers if there is a problem with their service or we need to call to arrange maintenance or upgrade works to the network and/or the customer’s connection.
Do we share this information with third parties?
We do not sell or share your information with third parties. We only provide our sub-contracted engineers with your details if they are to visit your premises to complete works on our behalf. These sub-contractors do not store your information or use it for any other purpose. Agreements with sub-contractors require that no information on Jellyfish customers can be shared with any other party.
How do we safeguard your personal data?
Only key Jellyfish Technology staff have access to the full customer CRM. The traffic in and out of the CRM will be encrypted and besides the key staff, is only accessible by the customers on the network who will have their own encrypted login details so they can view their own data and usage stats of our service. This is kept secure behind a firewall.
How can you access, amend or take back your personal information that we hold?
Under the new GDPR legislation you have the right to request and amend your personal information that Jellyfish Technologies hold for you. You can also request that your information be deleted at any time under the new guidelines. To get access please contact us our Data Protection Officer, Julie Boswell at hello@jellyfishbroadband.com.
Once a request has been received, we may ask the customer to verify their identification. In the case of deletion of information, where legally permitted to do so, we may decline your request if this interferes with providing you with broadband services.
Email Marketing
Once a customer has subscribed to our broadband services, they will be added to our email marketing list which is run via Brevo. Customers are added to this list so we can notify them of any planned or unplanned maintenance or outages across the network. We may also inform customers of any funding or useful information which is relevant to the service we provide. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you can simply unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link on the bottom of the Brevo emails.
